GoldMind: A Novel Tool for Knowledge Management
Teaching staff create and use knowledge every day. But sometimes, they are so busy that they donโt have time to document their workflows. Other times, they may not remember or know precisely how their teaching team handles tasks such as unit set-up or marking. This means that they often spend precious time searching for information, asking their colleagues for help, or responding to inquiries. These problems repeat each semester as new members join teaching teams and old members leave. As part of a DARPA-funded project, the Centre for Learning Analytics at Monash has developed a new tool that helps to address these issues. GoldMind is a knowledge management tool designed to help teaching staff better organise, capture, and share their knowledge.
